Foiling

Digital or hot foiling is a brilliant way to make your wedding stationery extra special. Which to use depends on design card type, design intricacy and budget.

Digital foiling - creates a sparkly foiled finish that is flat to the card. It is applied to soft touch matt card. It cannot be used on textured card.

Hot foiling - also creates a sparkly finish, using a custom hot metal stamp to press foil into card creating a slight indent you can feel. This is the more expensive of the processes. It can be used on all types of card.

Foiling works well on:

• Save the dates

• Invitations

• Menus

• Orders of service

• Thank you notes

• Favour tags

• Stickers

Price

There are too many variables to offer a guide price, but quotes are free!

Budgeting tips

• Choose digital foiling over hot foil (it still looks great!)

• Foil your day invitations and use a metallic graphic effect for evening

• Foil one side of your invitation as opposed to both

• Don't foil your save the dates

• Choose one item to foil
